Service Desk Advice – govdex Release
As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving govdex there will be a number of new features released on Wednesday 6th May 2015. The release will be performed outside of business hours and will have very little disruption for users.
Please log out of govdex by 8.00pm (AEST) Wednesday 6th May 2015.
Below is a brief description of each change.
Updated Features Page
The format and information on the govdex Features Page will be updated to provide you with up-to-date information in an easy to read format.
Content linking between Jira and Confluence
JIRA and Confluence complement each other. Collect your team’s thoughts, plans and knowledge in your community (Confluence), track your issues in your JIRA Project, and let the two applications work together to help you get your job done.
You will now have the ability to create a ticket from your community that is linked to your JIRA Project. You will also be able to display a list of tickets from your JIRA Project within your community.
Automated decline email when changing email
Users will now received an automated email if their application to rejoin a community has been declining following a change of email address. For information on how to Change your Email Address please refer the govdex support documentation.
